# Delete a warm-up

## How to delete a warm-up?

Here's how to remove a warm-up in Mailmeteor:

1. Sign in to [Mailmeteor Dashboard](https://dashboard.mailmeteor.com/).
2. Navigate to the "[Warm-up](https://dashboard.mailmeteor.com/email_warmups)" section.
3. Locate the email address you want to pause.
4. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to it, then select **Delete account**.

## What happens when you delete a warm-up?

Once you pause a warm-up:

* Mailmeteor will stop sending and receiving any warm-up emails for that address.
* All associated stats and history will be permanently deleted.
* You can restart warm-up for that address in the future, but it will begin from scratch.

## When should I delete a warm-up?

Deleting makes sense if you no longer use that email address or want to assign the warm-up slot to a different one. If you're just taking a break or planning to use it again soon, consider [pausing](https://mailmeteor.com/docs/email-warmup/pause) instead.
