Hey there,

Writing high-converting cold emails doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, you can boost your reply rates to 40%+ using just two elements:

  • A personalized pain point (P)
  • A clear call-to-action (C)

I call this the P.C. Formula. And it’s (by far) one of the simplest ways to craft cold emails that actually convert.

Let’s break it down 🔍

1️⃣ Start with a Pain Point (P)

Your first job is to identify a specific challenge your prospect is facing. But here’s the key – it needs to be personalized.

Generic: “Is lead generation a challenge for your business?”

Personalized: “I noticed your company’s blog posts are getting great engagement, but your conversion rate is only around 2% – well below the industry average of 3.5%.”

2️⃣ Follow with a Call-to-Action (C)

Once you’ve highlighted the pain point, offer a clear next step that promises quick relief.

Vague: “Let me know if you’d like to chat about this.”

Clear: “I have 3 quick ideas that could double your conversion rate in 30 days. Mind if I share them in a 5-minute video?”

Here’s the P.C. Formula in action:

The beauty of this formula lies in its simplicity. No fancy tricks. No manipulation. Just a genuine observation, followed by a helpful offer.

That’s it for today. See you next week :)

Happy sending,

Laura
